WellHere Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
The short version
- You don't need to give us your name, email or phone number to use WellHere.
- If you add your first name, it is shown only on invites you send and to the people you send them to.
- We use your choices in the app to suggest places and to keep your Saved and History lists.
- If you tell us how you felt after a visit, we keep that answer to improve suggestions.
- We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
- Photos come from Google Maps. Our server asks Google for them using only the place, never anything about you.
- You can delete your data at any time in the app: You → Privacy and your data → Delete my data.
1. Who we are
WellHere is run by Rymeio Marketing OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (registry code 14378529), at Sepapaja tn 6, Lasnamäe linnaosa, Tallinn, 15551, Estonia. We are the "controller" of your personal data, which means we decide how it is used and we are responsible for it.

2. What we collect
| What | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| An anonymous app ID | A random code created the first time you open the app | To keep your Saved and History lists without an account |
| Your choices in the app | What you need (for example Unwind), how much time you have, your starting area, the picks we showed you | To suggest places and show why we picked them |
| Places you save, open or visit | Saved list, History list | So you can find them again |
| Your location, only if you allow it | Where you are when you ask for picks, rounded to about 100 metres on your phone before it is sent | To work out travel time to each place. We keep the rounded position with that request. We never receive or keep your exact position, never keep a location history and never track you in the background |
| How you use the app | Screens opened, buttons tapped, errors | To fix problems and improve the app |
| Device and connection details | App version, whether you use iOS or Android, and the IP address and device description your phone sends when it connects to our sign-in service | To keep the service running and secure |
| A city request, only if you send one | The city you'd like WellHere in and, if you add it, your email address | Only to tell you when we launch there. If location is on, your phone looks up its city to fill in the form; we receive only the city you send |
| "Get notified" on wellhere.app, only if you sign up | Your email address and the city you enter. Nothing else: no cookies, no app ID, no tracking | Only to email you once, when WellHere is ready there. We delete it after that email, or sooner if you ask |
| Messages you send us | Your email address and what you write to feedback@wellhere.app | To reply to you |
We don't collect payment details, contacts, photos from your phone or health data. We don't ask about your health.
3. Our legal reasons
If you are in the EU or UK, the law (GDPR) requires us to give a legal reason for each use:
- To provide the app you asked for (contract): suggestions, Saved, History.
- Our legitimate interests: keeping the service secure, fixing errors and understanding which features are used. We keep this to the minimum we need.
- Your consent: your location. You can turn it off at any time in your phone's settings, and the app will ask you to choose an area instead.
If you are in Thailand, we process your data under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) on the same grounds.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your data. We share it only with companies that help us run WellHere, under contracts that limit what they can do with it:
- Supabase: stores our database, in Singapore.
- [HOSTING PROVIDER]: runs our server.
- Apple: delivers the app and test versions through the App Store and TestFlight. Apple's own privacy policy applies to that.
- MXRoute: receives the emails you send us.
Google Maps. Place photos come from Google Maps. Our server requests them using only the Google place ID and an image size. No app ID, location or other information about you is sent to Google. If you tap a photo credit or "Google Maps", you leave WellHere and Google's Privacy Policy applies.
Venues. When you tap to book or contact a place (website, LINE or phone), you leave WellHere. The venue's own privacy policy applies to anything you share with them.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users or others.
5. Data sent outside your country
Our database is in Singapore and some service providers may process data in other countries. When data leaves the EU, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another safeguard the law allows.
6. How long we keep it
- Your app data (app ID, choices, Saved, History, rounded location, how you use the app): until you delete it in the app or ask us to.
- Sign-in records (the IP address and device description above): until you delete your app data, which removes them too.
- Server logs: 30 days.
- City requests: until we launch in that city and tell you, or until you delete your app data.
- Emails to us: as long as needed to answer you, and no more than 24 months.
7. Your rights
You can:
- see the data we hold about you, and get a copy
- correct it
- delete it (in the app, or by emailing us)
- object to or limit how we use it
- withdraw your consent to location at any time
To use any of these rights, email privacy@wellhere.app. We'll reply within one month. Because there is no account, we may ask for your app ID, which is shown in You → Privacy and your data, so we can find your data.
If you think we've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (www.aki.ee), your local data protection authority, or in Thailand the Personal Data Protection Committee.
8. Children
WellHere is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you think a child has used the app, contact us and we'll delete the data.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit between the app and our server. Access to the database is restricted to the people and systems that need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app.
